Mr. Scott Felten, B.A.

Scott Felten has close ties to Lutheran education, as he has been connected to Lutheran schools every year since he was four years old.   The son of Lutheran educators, Scott spent his grade school years attending Lakewood Lutheran School in Lakewood, Ohio.  Enrollment at Lutheran West High School in Rocky River was next, and Scott is a proud member of the class of 1989.  His college degree in Elementary Education was earned from Concordia College (now University) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This led to his first job as a Lutheran teacher at St. John’s Lutheran School in Grand Haven, Michigan, where he served from 1993 to 1999. This was followed by a move back home to Cleveland, and the start of his ministry at St. Paul, which began in 1999 and continues to this day.

Scott and his wife Pamela (St. Paul’s 4th grade teacher) began dating while students at Lutheran West, were married in 1993, and reside in Fairview Park.  Their two sons, Adam and Michael, are both St. Paul and Lutheran West graduates.
In addition to his classroom duties, Scott has been St. Paul’s athletic director since 1999 and enjoys coaching as well.  A die-hard Cleveland sports fan, Scott was happy to attend the Cavs’ victory parade in 2016 and looks forward to being able to attend similar celebrations for the Browns and Indians.  Also especially pleasing is the Buckeyes’ annual football victory over Michigan.
