The T.E.A.M. Intervention Program is designed to meet the special learning needs of children, who have been indentified through educational testing to have specific learning and/or behavioral needs, in the general education setting. The Intervention Specialist (I.S.) works with the students, general education teachers, and parents to facilitate a successful learning environment in the general education setting. Support services are provided in a variety of methods.
The I.S. may work with the:
- child, or small group, in their classroom or in a learning center environment.
- general education teacher to adapt classroom materials and provide resources and accommodations.
- parents to better help their child at home.
The ultimate goal is to enable all children to perform up to their God given potential in a Christ centered atmosphere in the general education classroom
