T.E.A.M. Intervention Program

Mrs. Ruth Herndon, B.S.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness." 2Cor 12:9

The T.E.A.M. Intervention Program is designed to meet the special learning needs of children, who have been indentified through educational testing to have specific learning and/or behavioral needs, in the general education setting. The Intervention Specialist (I.S.) works with the students, general education teachers, and parents to facilitate a successful learning environment in the general education setting. Support services are provided in a variety of methods.

The I.S. may work with the:

  1. child, or small group, in their classroom or in a learning center environment.
  2. general education teacher to adapt classroom materials and provide resources and accommodations.
  3. parents to better help their child at home.

The ultimate goal is to enable all children to perform up to their God given potential in a Christ centered atmosphere in the general education classroom
