Frequently Asked Questions

The school office phone is 440-835-3051. Be sure your current email, phone number, and address is in Church Community Builder (church and school site) and Jupitered.com. Please note: BOTH the parent and student have a Jupitered account. When you first join the school, you will receive login instructions for both accounts. The username for both the parent and student accounts is the student’s first and last name. However, the two accounts must have different passwords. If a parent wants to connect all their children into one parent account, then the first time a parent logs on to the parent account for each child, they must use the same email and password. If you have questions please contact Mrs. Konyk for account use or problems.

Mission Statement

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Credo of St. Paul Lutheran School

We believe that a Lutheran Christian Day School taught by professionally prepared/equipped teachers in accordance with the following beliefs is the most effective educational process for training a child or fruitful living and good citizenship. We believe, teach and confess that:
1. The one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit is Lord of all.
2. God has created man and endowed him with an eternal soul.
3. All scripture is inspired by God.
4. God’s Word is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God is equipped for every good work.
5. Our government is a God-given gift, and children should be taught to respect it as such and to act in a responsible manner.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe that St. Paul Lutheran School is a ministry to the children and families of this region. Through faith in Christ’s unconditional love for us, we see St. Paul Lutheran as a growing church and school, compelled to Reach out, Teach the Word of God and Care for all people.
We are committed to:

  • Nurturing children towards a deeper biblical understanding
  • Inspiring children to achieve their full academic potential and excellence
  • Cooperating with parents in leading their children to be responsible Christian citizens
  • Encouraging service to our Lord and community

Here is why you should send your child to a Lutheran elementary school. Lutheran schools:

  • Are driven by a commitment to the Gospel and focused on a mission of bringing hope and healing to students and families.
  • Are governed by board members who clearly understand their roles and focus on the vision and board policies that effectively govern the operation of the school.
  • Meet or exceed state and national academic standards at all grade levels.
  • Help to develop a minimum of 30 developmental assets in children.
  • Have educators who model visionary leadership. They practice stewardship of resources, build up others and empathize with others.
  • Have educators who model servant leadership. Do those served grow as persons; do they, while being served, become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants? (Robert Greenleaf)
  • Have educators who model spiritual leadership. They study God’s Word, share their personal faith story, apply Law and Gospel appropriately, exhibit a passion for ministry, act courageously, equip God’s people for service, care for others, demonstrate integrity, and pray.

No. In fact, no church affiliation is required. We are a Christian school, and we teach the Christian values and principles found in the Bible.
